AGARTALA: A wave of shock and sensation gripped the Vidyasagar Professor Para area of the capital city today after the hanging body of a 26-year-old youth was recovered from his rented residence. The deceased has been identified as Bishnu Banik (26), originally a resident of the Khowai Kalyanpur region.
According to preliminary reports, Bishnu was living as a tenant in the house of a local resident identified as Joydeep Sen Chowdhury. He was professionally employed at the Kashipur branch of the prominent corporate automobile firm, Bajaj Company.
The tragic incident came to light when neighbors and family associates noticed no response from his room. Upon entering the premises, they discovered his lifeless body hanging inside the room. Following the discovery, the local police authorities were immediately alerted.
A team from the College Tilla Police Outpost rushed to the spot alongside an expert Forensic Team to secure the perimeter and initiate a scientific investigation. The sudden and untimely death has sent shockwaves across the neighborhood, and the family members of the deceased broke down in tears upon reaching the spot. The police have registered a case of unnatural death and shifted the body to the hospital morgue for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause behind the tragedy.
