AGARTALA | June 8, 2026: In a proactive move to address civic infrastructure issues, Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Mayor Dipak Majumdar on Monday conducted a thorough on-site inspection of several pending development projects across Ward No. 1 and Ward No. 2 areas.
During his visit, the Mayor walked through the local neighborhoods and engaged directly with the residents to understand their grievances firsthand. Responding immediately to the community’s demands and long-standing needs, Mayor Majumdar prioritized the immediate renovation of crucial road networks in these localities.
To ensure swift and effective execution, the Mayor held an on-the-spot consultation with the accompanying team of government officials and corporation engineers. He finalized a plan to overhaul the roads based on an emergency need-priority system. Mayor Majumdar strictly instructed the officials to expedite the repair work, eliminate administrative delays, and maintain high standards of reconstruction quality.
Local residents have expressed immense satisfaction over the Mayor’s prompt ground-level intervention and are optimistic that these long-pending road issues will finally be resolved, improving daily commuting in the wards.
