AGARTALA: To commemorate the valor, sacrifice, and victory of the Indian Armed Forces in Operation Vijay, the 27th Kargil Vijay Diwas was solemnly observed at the iconic Albert Ekka War Memorial in Lichubagan, Agartala today. Hon’ble Governor of Tripura, Shri N. Indrasena Reddy, led the state in paying floral tributes to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation.
The solemn ceremony was attended by senior military officials, veterans, state administration representatives, and dignitaries who gathered to honor the heroes of the 1999 Kargil War.

The event commenced with the placing of wreaths at the memorial, followed by a military salute and a moment of silence in honor of Param Vir Chakra awardee Lance Naik Albert Ekka and all fallen heroes.
