RANIRBAZAR | July 4, 2026: In a heartening gesture to nurture the academic future of the state’s youth, a grand felicitation and congratulatory ceremony was organized today for students who successfully cleared their Higher Secondary (HS) examinations. The special event, hosted at the Ranirbazar Gitanjali Hall, was organized under the personal initiative of the local lawmaker of the 10-Majlishpur Assembly Constituency and Cabinet Minister, Shri Sushanta Chowdhury.
The auditorium was filled with energy as hundreds of young achievers from across the Majlishpur constituency, along with their proud parents and educators, gathered to receive institutional recognition.
A Star-Studded Encouragement for Majlishpur’s Brightest
The celebratory event featured prominent state leadership on the dais. Joining the host, Transport and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, to motivate the young minds was:
- Shri Sukanta Chowdhury, Honorable Minister of State.
- Prominent educationists, senior school inspectors, and local panchayat council heads from the Majlishpur block.
During the ceremony, the meritorious students were presented with formal certificates of excellence, commemorative mementos, and academic token gifts to support their upcoming higher education journeys in various universities and technical streams.
”Our students are the architects of a modern, progressive Tripura. Organizing this felicitation ceremony in Majlishpur is our way of telling these bright young minds that the entire state stands behind their dreams. Clearing the Higher Secondary milestone is just the beginning of a vast horizon of opportunities. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, our government is expanding digital learning infrastructure and higher education facilities across every district so that no student has to leave their home state due to a lack of institutional avenues. I congratulate every student and their parents today,” Minister Sushanta Chowdhury stated during his address.
Empowering the Next Generation of Professionals
Speaking at the event, Minister Sukanta Chowdhury urged the students to pair their academic excellence with strong moral values and a commitment to social development, reminding them to utilize their skills for the betterment of rural communities.
The Ranirbazar Gitanjali Hall event concluded with a vibrant interaction session where the dignitaries directly spoke with the toppers, listening to their career aspirations in engineering, medicine, civil services, and creative arts, while promising continued state-level mentorship and structural support for their future endeavors.
