AGARTALA: Aiming to address student issues, educational challenges, and the role of youth in nation-building, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) and the Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress jointly organized a special seminar titled ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ (Voice of Students) at the Student Health Home in Agartala today.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of school and college students, youth activists, and senior leadership of the Congress party.

Empowering Student Voices and Tackling Academic Grievances
Addressing the gathering, central and state Congress leaders highlighted the core objectives of the national initiative ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’. They emphasized that student bodies like NSUI must act as an active bridge to raise student grievances—ranging from academic infrastructure and employment opportunities to transparent campus governance—before the administration.
Speaking on the occasion, CWC Member Sudip Roy Barman and TPCC President Asish Kumar Saha urged the student community to stay vigilant about their rights and democratic freedoms. They asserted that youth power forms the backbone of society and called upon students to actively participate in constructive social and political dialogues to safeguard public education and democratic values.
The seminar concluded with an interactive session where attending students shared their perspectives, regional educational concerns, and suggestions with the visiting leadership.
