
AGARTALA: In a sudden development within the state administrative setup, Tripura Chief Secretary Jitendra Kumar Sinha was admitted to a private hospital (ILS Hospital) in Agartala today after experiencing sudden fever, cough, and dehydration.
According to administrative sources, Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha felt indisposed while attending to his official duties inside his chamber at the State Secretariat. Taking immediate precautions, senior officials and office staff shifted him to the hospital around 2:30 PM for prompt medical evaluation.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha Visits Hospital
Upon receiving the news, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha rushed to the hospital to personally enquire about the Chief Secretary’s health condition. Accompanying him were Health Secretary Kiran Gitte, District Magistrate (West Tripura) Dr. Vishal Kumar, and other senior administrative officials.
The Chief Minister interacted directly with the attending medical team and family members to review the course of treatment and overall health status.
”Condition Stable, No Reason to Worry”: Chief Minister
Reassuring the public and administrative fraternity, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha stated that all vital parameters of the Chief Secretary remain completely normal and stable.
”Visited Chief Secretary Shri Jitendra Kumar Sinha Ji, who is currently undergoing treatment for viral fever. His all other parameters are stable and normal. Spoke with the attending doctors and his family members to enquire about his health and the course of treatment. I wish him a speedy recovery and pray for his good health,” the Chief Minister stated.
Attending doctors confirmed that the Chief Secretary is responding well to treatment and has been advised complete rest under medical observation.
