AGARTALA: Demonstrating a strong commitment to social service, workers and officers of Tripura ONGC participated in a voluntary blood donation drive organized at the ONGC Tripura Asset premises in Agartala. The event was held under the initiative of the ONGC Employees’ Union of Tripura to mark the upcoming 72nd Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS).
The primary objective of the camp was to support local blood banks in meeting the state’s demand for blood and to raise awareness among the public about the importance of voluntary donation.

Distinguished guests and leaders inspected the donation site, interacting directly with donors and praising the workforce for stepping forward in service of humanity.
Addressing the gathering, Assembly Speaker Ram Pada Jamatia and AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder highlighted that voluntary blood donation is one of the highest forms of social contribution. They commended the ONGC Employees’ Union and BMS leadership for aligning organizational milestones with impactful community welfare initiatives.
A large number of ONGC employees, union activists, and youth donors voluntarily donated blood throughout the drive. The organizers expressed gratitude to all donors and medical teams for ensuring the smooth execution of the camp.
