News Report:Khowai, Tripura: In a major crackdown on illegal smuggling, Assam Rifles, in a joint operation with the Customs Department, recovered a huge consignment of contraband cigarettes in the general area of Chakmaghat, near Teliamura, on 29 September 2025. The operation was launched at 0915 hours and concluded at 1330 hours, based on specific intelligence inputs from own sources and the 11 WEU.
