AGARTALA | June 28, 2026: In a synchronized effort to expand grassroots connectivity with the Prime Minister’s vision for national growth, the Ramnagar No. 7 BJP Mandal Committee today hosted a special broadcasting assembly for the 135th episode of Mann Ki Baat. The mass listening program was successfully organized at the historic Dasarath Deb Smriti Bhavan auditorium in Agartala.
The event saw widespread participation from local booth workers, community leaders, and residents who gathered to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to the nation.
Mobilizing Grassroots Connections through Civic Leadership
The gathering was spearheaded by a distinguished panel of leaders, including the Honorable Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC), Shri Dipak Majumder, and the Urban Sadar District General Secretary, Shri Asim De, alongside senior executive members of the Ramnagar organizational wing.
By leveraging neighborhood-level mobilize-units, the mandal committee ensured that basic public panels could actively join the discourse on national development, self-reliance, and localized innovations highlighted by the Prime Minister.
”The monthly Mann Ki Baat radio address is not merely a broadcast; it acts as a cultural bridge that binds our local developmental frameworks with the vision of a Vikasit Bharat (Developed India). Today, listening to the 135th episode alongside our karyakartas and mothers of the Ramnagar sector reminds us of our local duties toward cleanliness, social service, and eco-friendly urban living. The AMC is fully aligned with these directives, and our field teams are translating these messages into actionable city-wide updates,” Mayor Dipak Majumder asserted during his media briefing post the assembly.
Key Focus Areas Highlighted at the Gathering
Following the conclusion of the radio transmission, the senior political representatives addressed the booth leaders to outline their localized operational priorities:
- Booth-Level Communication: Strengthening channels to ensure that central welfare initiatives highlighted in the radio programs reach eligible households smoothly across the Ramnagar constituency.
- Civic Volunteering: Urging local youth panels to take up weekend sanitation and environment conservation drives in line with the national cleanliness frameworks championed by the Prime Minister.
- Strengthening Party Grid: Pushing ahead with time-bound developmental reviews to directly address neighborhood-level grievances in the surrounding sectors.
The convention concluded with a brief internal strategy evaluation, where Urban Sadar District General Secretary Asim De instructed block supervisors to plan similar decentralized community gatherings for future episodes.
