AGARTALA: Continuing the momentum of the “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Mahabhiyan 2026,” the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tripura State Unit organized a specialized workshop for Mandal-level trainers today. The session was held at Hotel Oresta, Nagerjala, providing a professional setting for the party’s key coordinators to refine their training strategies.
Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha attended the workshop as the primary mentor, emphasizing the need for technical precision and ideological clarity among those responsible for educating the party’s grassroots workers.
Strengthening the Organizational Core
Today’s workshop was specifically designed for “Trainers”—the individuals who will carry the party’s message from the state headquarters to the 60 Mandals and thousands of booths across Tripura.
Key Highlights of the Workshop:
- Curriculum Mastery: Trainers were briefed on the seven core subjects prescribed by the central leadership, alongside a Tripura-specific module added by the state unit focusing on local development success stories.
- Effective Communication: Special sessions focused on how to break down complex government policies (like the Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana) into simple language for rural voters.
- Handling Counter-Narratives: Trainers were taught how to logically address opposition claims regarding labor codes and unemployment using data-backed facts.
“Trainers are the Bridge”: CM Manik Saha
During his address to the trainees at Hotel Oresta, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha stressed that the success of the 2026 Mahabhiyan rests entirely on the quality of the trainers.
”Our trainers are the bridge between the party’s vision and the worker’s action. If the trainer is well-informed, the worker at the booth will be unstoppable. This workshop is about ensuring that every trainer understands our philosophy of ‘Integral Humanism’ and can explain how it translates into the ‘Pro-People’ governance we see in Tripura today,” the Chief Minister said.
Dignitaries in Attendance
The event saw a strong turnout of the BJP’s organizational leadership:
- Shri Rajib Bhattacharjee: State BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP.
- Shri Subrata Chakraborty: Chief Spokesperson and lead coordinator of the training mission.
- Senior Ministers & MLAs: Several cabinet members attended as observers to oversee the quality of training being imparted.
The Road Ahead
With the completion of this trainers’ workshop at Nagerjala, the BJP is now set to roll out its Mandal-level training camps simultaneously across the state. The party aims to finish this massive internal exercise by the end of May, ensuring that its entire cadre is battle-ready for the upcoming administrative and political challenges.
The choice of a venue like Hotel Oresta reflects the party’s transition toward more structured and professional internal corporate-style training modules to enhance organizational efficiency.
