The Tripura government is taking significant steps towards enhancing the safety and well-being of female students in the state. Chief Minister Manik Saha recently announced the installation of sanitary vending machines in 455 schools, as well as the provision of self-defense training to 1.42 lakh girl students.
In a move to prioritize education and environmental conservation, CM Saha emphasized the importance of quality education and proper infrastructure in schools. He revealed plans to develop around 123 school infrastructures and ensure the recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff in the education department.
During the inauguration of the new building of Amtali H.S. School, CM Saha virtually inaugurated new buildings of several other schools, including Henry Derozio Academy, Gandhigram H.S. School, Taltala H.S. School, Indranagar High School, and Nandan Nagar H.S. School.
Speaking on the importance of environmental conservation, CM Saha highlighted the need to protect the Earth and its flora and fauna. He stressed the importance of maintaining ecological balance to avoid potential problems in the future.
PM Modi’s appeal to protect nature was also mentioned by CM Saha, who emphasized the need to update teaching methods to ensure students are well-informed about environmental issues. He reiterated that education is the key to development and progress, stating that without a strong focus on education, no country or state can progress effectively.
The Tripura government and education department are working tirelessly towards the overall development of education in the state, with a strong focus on providing a safe and nurturing environment for all students.
