Stepping up the state’s drive towards a Tuberculosis-free nation, Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu officially inaugurated a high-level awareness workshop on TB elimination on Wednesday. Aligning with the central government’s national mission, the event marked a major milestone in Tripura’s public health initiatives.
During the program, the Governor formally launched the official ‘TB Mukt Bharat’ App by pressing a remote button, introducing a dedicated digital platform to streamline monitoring, patient support, and public outreach. Addressing the gathering, Governor Nallu emphasized the critical need for grassroots awareness, early detection, and collective community action to completely eradicate Tuberculosis from the state. Senior health officials, medical experts, and key administration members attended the workshop, committing to a coordinated push to achieve a TB-free Tripura.
