AGARTALA | AUGUST 02, 2026: A mega free health camp was organized on Sunday at the Dashamighat premises under the initiative of the Sri Sri Ma Snehmoyee Ashram Trust. The philanthropic event was formally inaugurated by West Tripura District Magistrate and Collector Dr. Vishal Kumar (IAS).
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Mayor-in-Council Tushar Kanti Bhattacharjee as a Guest of Honor, along with senior office-bearers and officials of the Sri Sri Ma Snehmoyee Ashram Trust.
The camp provided comprehensive medical check-ups, diagnostic consultations, and expert health advice free of cost to local residents and visitors. Speaking at the event, Trust representatives reaffirmed their commitment to social welfare, emphasizing that the primary objective of the drive is to make quality healthcare accessible to all sections of society, especially underprivileged communities.
District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar lauded the Trust for its humanitarian service, noting that public-private partnerships and charitable health initiatives play a crucial role in strengthening community wellness across Agartala.
