RANIRBAZAR / AGARTALA: Ahead of the upcoming festive season, the Ranirbazar Royal Welfare Society organized a grand community-centric event near the Ranirbazar Police Station, featuring the official unmasking of their Durga Puja theme alongside a mega blood donation drive, a free medical check-up camp, and an educational kit distribution drive for underprivileged students.
The high-profile event was graced by Tripura Cabinet Minister Sushanta Chowdhury as the Chief Guest, alongside several local dignitaries and community leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury praised the social welfare organization for pairing traditional festive celebrations with critical humanitarian services. He noted that integrating life-saving initiatives like voluntary blood donation and public health screenings into cultural festivities sets a benchmark for community engagement in Tripura.
During the program, free medical consultations and health checks were extended to scores of local residents. In a bid to support rural education, the society also distributed essential educational kits and study materials to underprivileged students from nearby areas. The event concluded with the enthusiastic unveiling of the club’s Durga Puja theme artwork, drawing strong local participation.
