AGARTALA: Demonstrations demanding the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan reached a pivotal turn today as the protest, organized by student groups near the high-security Circuit House area in Agartala, entered its fifth consecutive day. Extending their direct political backing, senior leaders and activists of the Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress arrived at the site to join the sitting agitators.
The presence of the Youth Congress leadership added fresh momentum to the ongoing agitation, as protesters raised energetic slogans against central educational policies, paper leaks, and systemic examination irregularities.
