AGARTALA | August 1, 2026: In a continuing effort to replenish local blood bank reserves and foster civic responsibility ahead of the festive season, the iconic Agiye Cholo Sangha club of Agartala today organized a voluntary blood donation camp at its club premises. The humanitarian drive was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Tripura, Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha, alongside senior club officials, social workers, and prominent local personalities.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from club members, local youth, and neighborhood residents who stepped forward to donate blood to meet the ongoing demand in state health facilities.
Community Leadership and Voluntary Service
Agiye Cholo Sangha, one of the capital’s premier traditional clubs known for its social outreach and major cultural celebrations, organized the camp in coordination with state health department medical teams and blood bank personnel.
Speaking at the inauguration, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha commended the club’s executive committee and youth volunteers for consistently prioritizing social welfare alongside cultural festivities.
Key highlights of the voluntary drive included:

- Felicitation of Donors: Presenting donor certificates and tokens of appreciation to all participants to encourage ongoing blood donation movements across the state.
