The Bihar Assembly Election 2025 has been a highly anticipated event, with the exit polls pointing towards a clear victory for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The NDA, led by the BJP and JD(U), is expected to secure a significant majority in the 243-member Assembly, according to three major exit polls released recently.
The India Today-Axis My India survey projects the NDA winning between 160 to 185 seats, indicating a strong mandate from the public. On the other hand, the RJD-led INDIA bloc is predicted to secure between 50 to 70 seats. Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party, making its debut in the state elections, is expected to perform poorly, winning less than five seats.
The News18 Mega Poll and Times Now-ETG Research polls also suggest a sweeping victory for the NDA, highlighting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s governance record and the BJP’s organizational strength as key factors in securing voter support.
Despite an aggressive campaign focusing on issues such as unemployment and price rise, the INDIA bloc led by Tejashwi Yadav has struggled to make significant gains. Prashant Kishor, a prominent political strategist turned politician, has also failed to make a mark in his first electoral outing.
The official counting of votes is scheduled for November 14, when the actual results will be announced. Until then, all eyes are on Bihar as the state eagerly awaits the final verdict of the 2025 Assembly elections.
Stay tuned for live updates and constituency-wise trends as Bihar braces for the outcome of this crucial election.
