AGARTALA: Marking a significant milestone in national data modernization, the first phase of India’s first-ever completely digital census has officially rolled out across the nation with the launch of the online self-enumeration process. Joining this digital transition, Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee has issued a special appeal to all citizens of Tripura to register their household details online from the comfort of their homes.
The nationwide digital self-enumeration window officially opened on July 17 and is scheduled to remain active until July 31.
Highlighting the importance of the initiative, MP Rajib Bhattacharjee emphasized that the Census 2027 framework has been designed to be highly secure, transparent, and technology-driven. He noted that accurate data collection is the cornerstone for building effective public welfare schemes and driving overall infrastructural development.
The Rajya Sabha MP urged local community leaders, youth organizations, and citizens across towns and villages in Tripura to actively spread awareness about the ongoing drive. He stressed that maximum participation during this fortnight-long window will ensure a smooth, error-free, and successful implementation of the country’s first digital census.
