AGARTALA: In a coordinated move to address key issues concerning educators and government employees in the state, the Rastrabadi Shikshak Sangha and the Rastrabadi Karmachari Sangha jointly organized a press conference at their Battala office premises today.
The media briefing saw the presence of top leadership from both organizations, who aimed to highlight pressing professional demands, administrative challenges, and employee welfare strategies.
Prominent leaders addressing the press conference included Rastrabadi Shikshak Sangha General Secretary Nirmal Mitra and President Shyamal Saha. Representing the employees’ wing, Rastrabadi Karmachari Sangha President Dipen Bhowmik and General Secretary Sanjay Sutradhar were also present on the dais, alongside several other senior members and organizational office-bearers.
During the press meet, the joint leadership focused on crucial matters, including service conditions, timely implementation of benefits, and fostering a constructive work environment within the state’s education and administrative sectors. The leaders reiterated their commitment to advocating firmly for the rights of teachers and public servants while maintaining structural dialogue with the state administration for swift resolutions.
