AGARTALA | June 11, 2026: In a major boost to employment generation and skill empowerment for the state’s youth, the Directorate of Skill Development, Government of Tripura, is organizing a mega Job Fair in the capital city.
The placement drive is scheduled to take place on June 12, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM. The specialized venue selected for this employment event is the Women’s Industrial Training Institute (ITI) campus located in Indranagar, Agartala.
Connecting Local Youth with Corporate Employers
The job fair aims to bridge the gap between skilled regional candidates and corporate recruiters from various local and national industries. Multiple private sector companies, service enterprises, and technical firms are expected to set up spot-interview desks to recruit eligible young men and women.
”Our primary objective is to offer direct corporate placement platforms to our skilled ITI graduates and general diploma holders right here in Agartala. This job fair provides an excellent window for job seekers to interact face-to-face with human resource managers, undergo spot screenings, and secure viable livelihoods,” an administrative official from the Skill Development Directorate stated.
Candidates interested in participating are advised to arrive at the Women’s ITI campus on time, carrying multiple copies of their updated resumes, educational certificates, identity proofs, and recent passport-size photographs for the spot registration and interview processes.
