AGARTALA: Alert residents of the Surya Chowmuhani area foiled a burglary attempt in the broad daylight hours today, apprehending three thieves red-handed while they were attempting to break into a local premises.
The caught individuals were later handed over to personnel from the East Agartala Police Station.

According to local sources, residents noticed suspicious movements by three unknown individuals near a shop-cum-residential building in the Surya Chowmuhani area. Upon getting suspicious, local youth and shopkeepers surrounded the premises and caught all three suspects on the spot before they could flee with stolen valuables.
