AGARTALA: In a major spiritual landmark for the state capital, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha officially inaugurated the newly installed idols of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita at the historic Shri Shri Narsingh Dev and Shri Shri Ram Janaki Temple today.
The temple, located in the Old Motor Stand area of Agartala, has undergone a comprehensive renovation and has been beautifully redecorated to welcome devotees.
The auspicious inauguration ceremony was graced by several high-profile dignitaries, including Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Mayor Dipak Majumder, the District Magistrate (DM) of West Tripura, and the District Police Superintendent (SP), alongside temple committee members and a large gathering of devotees.
Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha expressed his reverence and highlighted the cultural and spiritual significance of the temple’s beautification. He noted that the newly renovated temple would serve as a serene spiritual hub for the citizens of Agartala and visitors alike. The revitalization of this prominent religious site has sparked immense joy and enthusiasm among the local residents.
