AGARTALA: Setting a leading example for digital governance, Tripura Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu participated in the Census 2027 process on Friday morning by completing his self-enumeration online.
The special registration program was held at the Loke Bhawan in Agartala, where the Governor personally logged onto the portal to register his details.
The event was organized to officially promote and encourage the public to actively participate in the digital self-enumeration drive for the upcoming Census 2027. By demonstrating the process firsthand, the Governor sent a strong message to the citizens of Tripura to embrace modern, digital methods for national data collection.
According to administrative officials, the self-enumeration system has been introduced to make Census 2027 significantly easier, more transparent, and highly technology-driven. The initiative aims to raise awareness among the masses, making it convenient for households to securely submit their information from the comfort of their homes.
