The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made a significant move ahead of the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections by appointing former Tripura Chief Minister and Lok Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb as co-in-charge for the state. This decision was officially communicated by Arun Singh, National General Secretary and Headquarters In-Charge of the BJP, with the approval of BJP National President J.P. Nadda. Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav has also been named as the state in-charge.
The appointment of Biplab Kumar Deb has been seen as a strategic move by the BJP leadership, who have shown confidence in his organizational skills and electoral experience. Deb has previously been instrumental in managing election responsibilities in Haryana, Odisha, and Delhi, receiving praise from within the party for his work.
With the West Bengal polls being of crucial importance for the BJP, the party expects Deb to utilize his experience to energize the party cadre and strengthen organizational preparations. Party insiders believe that his involvement will make the election campaign more dynamic and effective, ultimately helping the BJP in their efforts to make a mark in West Bengal.
This move comes at a time when the BJP is looking to make significant inroads in West Bengal, where they have been working tirelessly to challenge the ruling Trinamool Congress. With Deb now on board, the BJP hopes to further solidify their presence in the state and make a strong impact in the upcoming elections.
