In a successful anti-drug campaign, police in the Kasba Kauka Para area of Damchara thana in North Tripura have arrested two individuals with a large quantity of drugs, including heroin and tablets. The suspects have been identified as Sanjeev Debbarma, son of the late Ajoy Debbarma, from whose house 33 grams of heroin powder and 800 tablets of yaba were recovered. The estimated market value of these drugs is around 15 lakh takas. During the operation, police also seized 3,74,500 takas in cash from the suspect’s house.
